make more potential birth mothers consider abortion? I have to wonder. The majority of folks on here think it is an adoptees right to know where they came from whether or not this was against the birth parents wishes. That's fine, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I have to wonder if the worry over thinking their offspring may find them one day pushes some women towards opting for abortion. Shouldn't mothers who are just trying to do the right thing by getting their child raised in a better home (and not choosing abortion because they know it is not the child's fault) be at least given consideration to keep the records sealed?
