Liberate Da Isles Mon! Trolls Take Back the Echo Isles

There's no stopping the war drums in World of Warcraft as the Darkspear trolls prepare to reclaim their long lost homeland from the clutches of an evil necromancer. In the upcoming Patch 3.9.0, one of the last updates before the Cataclysm expansion, the Darkspears will seek the help of their Horde allies and a powerful loa god to retake the Echo Isles once and for all.

 

But the sorcerer Zalazane won't give up his hold on the Echo Isles easily. Commanding an army of Darkspear trolls he has enslaved using voodoo magic, Zalazane hopes to pit the tribe against one another and keep the advancing Darkspears at bay.

 

Zalazane had once been loyal to the Darkspear tribe but his research on dark magic gave him illusions of grandeur that he had the right to subdue his own people for personal gain. What Zalazane hasn't counted on though is the tenacity of Vol'jin, the current leader of the exiled Darkspear trolls.

 

Vol'jin has begun a massive recruitment campaign across the Horde faction and has turned the quiet Sen'jin Village into a bustling base of operations.

 

Spy Frogs, Troll Druids and a Loa Spirit

According to initial testing of Patch 3.3.5 at the public test realms, the Echo Isles quest line begins in Sen'jin Village where Horde players will be asked to capture frogs for the troll lieutenant Vanira. These frogs will serve as spies for the Darkspears since Vanira can attune her eyesight to the frogs', enabling her to see the goings-on in the Echo Isles and plan the best time for attack.

 

You also get to meet a strange tiger, which turns out to be the druid troll Zen'tabra. The inclusion of troll druids into the Echo Isles campaign is a smart move for Blizzard since it will give a great back story for this newest race-class option.

 

Zen'tabra joins the cause and enlists her troll druid friends, further bolstering the forces at Sen'jin Village. But the most powerful ally to join the Darkspears will be the loa spirit Bwonsamdi who watches over the tribe, both living and dead. Bwonsamdi is first unsure whether you will be able to defeat Zalazane but after proving your mettle in combat, the loa spirit finally relents and lends his strength for the last push deep into the Echo Isles.

 

The Storming of Echo Isles

Having gathered enough troll warriors and allies to match Zalazane's forces, Vol'jin invades the Echo Isles for the final confrontation. Vanira, Zen'tabra and Bwonsamdi all provide back-up in what has been described as the troll version of the Battle for the Undercity.

 

The storming of Echo Isles will be a phased encounter and will feature opponents ranging from packs of hexed trolls to the mini-boss Jun'do the Traitor. Zalazane will also attempt to conjure an impenetrable force field that will protect him from harm, but let's just say it won't do him any good and he will at last get a taste of his own bad mojo.

 

It remains to be seen whether the hexed trolls can be brought back from their trance, but it is suspected that killing Zalazane—plus the help of the Darkspear witch doctors—could be enough to free the enslaved trolls.

 

The Echo Isles campaign has been a long time coming and trolls around Azeroth are thrilled to no end. No more squatting in Orgrimmar or being the only Horde race without a city to call their own. Now, Vol'jin and his Darkspear trolls will taste liberation—and get a breezy, tropical town to call home in Cataclysm.

Ron White Tickets - Despite 'behavioral Problems' White Is A Strong Performer

With a raspy voice and a glass of scotch and cigar in hand, Ron White first made a name for himself when friend and tourmate Jeff Foxworthy developed the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. After 13 years doing small-time comedy tours, Ron White opened up with the touring redneck group and has now headlined his own series of comedy tours.

Now, millions of dollars later, White continues to sip that scotch, smoke his cigar and tote around as the "fashionable redneck" of Blue Collar Comedy as he currently tours in support of the number one Comedy Central special Behavioral Problems. His new skit will premiere mid-April on Comedy Central, as he amps up audiences with another round of shows beginning early March. The Fritch, Texas native now thrives in California, where he's learned to adapt to the southern California lifestyle of big living. The proud owner of his own jet, three homes (in Beverly Hills, Atlanta and Montecito) and a puppy, White hasn't put aside his small town ambitions since becoming a star.

"I'm still a hardworking comedian," he said to the Bakersfield press. "I still go to open mic night every night when I'm in town and bang out the beats on my new stuff...so, I'm not resting on my laurels at this point. In fact, I'm really grateful these crowds are still comin' to see me, so I try to keep the show really fresh and funny…six months from now, I just wanna be a better comedian than I am today." The result keeps people laughing, as he jokes about his run-ins with the law or his wife's sexual boundaries. Not one to hold back, his jokes are bound to offend a few, and he likes it that way.

In just his first three years on the mainstream, White earned a whopping $15 million to his name thanks to arena tours and Comedy Central specials. It was after the 2000 debut on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour that helped his 2003 album Drunk in Public skyrocket to multi-platinum success as his feature films and albums in subsequent years found a similar fate. His short-live WB variety show The Ron White Show helped to open White's redneck jokes to a wider audience, as he found himself among Grammy nominees in 2006 for his album You Can't Fix Stupid.

The most recent to appear in 2009's Capitol release Behavioral Problems, a classic White production that features some of his classic tricks as he spins through a manner of topics like his women, alcohol, drugs and his rights. The set charted at No. 13 on Billboard's Country Albums and No. 51 on the Billboard 200 last year. With such success, continued Blue Collar support and a new album out, White continues to lay claim to his success thanks to his mother's "'tater salad."

Watch The Best Adapted Musicals On Satellite Tv

Going to the theatre is a timeless tradition that modern society can still enjoy.  It is an elegant experience that was once reserved exclusively for the upper class but is now made more available to the public.  The cozy seating, the booming acoustics, the lights, and the orchestra are bound to get a rise out of the audience.  But it is now possible to enjoy your favorite musicals in the comfort of your own home and get almost an equally high quality show by watching a film adaptation in high definition.  Here are the top three musicals that have been made in to movies and can be watched time and again on satellite TV.

3. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: The 1999 film starring Donny Osmond is based upon the original musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, but the story goes as far back as the Bible.  Joseph, one of the 12 sons of Jacob, is his father's preferred child and envied by the rest of his brother.  When Jacob gives a remarkable Technicolor coat to Joseph, his 11 jealous brothers sell him as a slave to Ishmaellites who then lead him to Egypt.  While enslaved in Egypt, Joseph exhibits prophetic powers and soon rises out of his chains and is brought to advise the Pharaoh.  When the brothers are eventually pushed out of the homeland by famine and come to Egypt in search for food, they are reunited with Joseph and the story turns out to have a happy ending.  The catchy songs and the vibrant colors are unforgettable in this production.  All the magic is still there and you'll get an even more personal viewing experience by watching the up-close movie version in HD.

West Side Story: It's the familiar drama and tragedy of Romeo and Juliet adapted to 1950's America.  Two gangs from different sides of town are battling for dominance in New York City.  The Sharks are the American gangsters while the Jets are the Puerto Rican counterparts, each forbidding contact with people from the opposite group.   But lo and behold, Maria, a young Latin beauty with Jet affiliation, falls in love with Tony who runs with the Jets.  The story follows the timeless work of Shakespeare but with an interesting twist, and the theatrical production provides nonstop entertainment with music by Leonard Bernstein.  The film version was released in 1961 and is an equally good viewing experience, as intimate as if you were sitting onstage with the actors.

Phantom of the Opera: This 1986 musical, again by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is the longest running Broadway production in history and is long time favorite.  But the 2004 film provides a slightly different depiction, enhancing the story with artful cinematography and bringing the captivating story to audiences everywhere with satellite TV.  It is a tragic love story, of Christine Daaé and her "Angel of Music," the Opera House Ghost or perhaps more accurate, a talented Phantom living in the cellars of the Opera House, who reveres music beyond everything else.  With the help of the Phantom, Christine discovers her true musical passions but is lured into an impossible romance.  This wonderful story is a series of captivating contrasts: light and darkness, fear and love, beauty and disgust, and will intrigue viewers on stage and off.
