What do you think about Baby Einstein videos?

I'm trying to decide if I want to invest in them.
I like how I ask a question about Baby Einstein and people act like I don't play with my daughter at all.

Well, as a single mother, who stays at home with my daughter full time and goes to school online I love the Baby Einstein videos! It is one of the best investments I have made. I do not agree with letting a baby sit in front of the tv all day, but it is nice to have a 30-45 minute break from having to hold her. It's the only time she will really let me put her down so I can get stuff done. There is nothing wrong with letting your baby watch a limited amount of tv as long as you are also spending time playing with your baby. I would say go for it! They really are a great investment!

What is the best lullaby CD to put a baby to sleep?

I have a 4 month old boy who has a problem falling asleep on his own and staying asleep during naps. When I sing to him he falls asleep, but the moment I stop he wakes up! I want to buy a lullaby CD, but can only afford to buy one or two. What is the best lullaby CD to put a baby to sleep?

By the way, he doesn't fall asleep when my husband sings to him. In other words, he seems to respond best to my medium-high female voice.

I found a CD called Night Night by Everland Kids (got it from iTunes). It has nice, soft lullabies for babies. Some of the songs with kids singing are annoying (to me, my daughter doesn't seem to mind, lol!) but there are some nice instrumental songs. You could also try soothing classical music.

What you could do is buy maybe 3 or 4 songs (so only $3-4.00) from iTunes and then burn them to a CD and press repeat on your CD player. Your baby won't notice if it's the same 3 or 4 songs playing over and over.

Everyone loves a good pop song to groove to, so why not choose a couple of those great hits to play in your baby shower while mom is opening all the amazing newborn baby gifts. Regardless of age, most people have heard the famous song numerous times. This one is great for singing along and dancing. The number one pop hit begins with a repetitive "Oh baby, baby." When you play this song, your guests will go wild, especially if mom is in the process of opening the baby shower gifts. There is actually a part of the song that describes a feeling that can be applied to mothers.

We all know moms can be overprotective at times and can almost lose their minds when their children are not under their supervision.
