quincy jones humanitarian?
what Jackson 5 song was that being played on the BET 2008 awards when quincy jones was accepting his humanitarian award??? please help me
"Heal the World", but this is not a Jackson 5 song. This was a group of celebrities that sang on this song to help Contribute money towards the campaign. This group of celebrities did include Michael Jackson, but at this point he was an adult and not part of Jackson 5.
Watch it again when it plays, it came on last night. Check your cable listings.

Can anybody help me with taking audio of a blu ray dvd, r send me a link to where I might get the audio detail?
I want to take the audio of Michael Jackson's This Is It, for two songs, Human Nature and I Just Can't Stop Lovin' You or where a link to where I could get a link to the songs. Don't want to do any thing illegal, just 2 amzing versions of those songs. Thanks
An easy way to do this would be to connect the red/white RCA audio outputs of your blu ray player to the line input (blue connector) of your computer. You could use any audio recorder software to record it - here is some great, free audio recorder software:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
You'll need a RCA to 3.5mm cable too:

Banks have never been loved
In the current crisis ravaging the Nigerian banking industry, most bankers are wondering why the morning newspapers have nothing good to say about Nigerian banks. Going by the headlines every morning, most bankers are on the verge of depression wondering “why do they hate us so much?”
Well, here is the “good news,” Banks (ers) have never been loved. They have been hated since money was invented and bankers mastered the art of making money from money rather than from what money can buy. Bank haters’ litter through history, it cuts across societal strata and ages. The only common denominator they all share is their “passionate hatred for banks” and consequently bankers.
Aristotle was a great Greek philosopher of all time who lived between 384 BC and 322BC and made so many statements of wisdom that has stood the test time of time over the centuries however he had a passionate hatred for petty usurers who were the bankers of his time. For him “The trade of the petty usurer is hated with most reason: it makes a profit from currency itself, instead of making it from the process which currency was meant to serve. Their common characteristic is obviously their sordid avarice”
Then comes the great French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte considered one of the most brilliant individuals in history who lived between 1769 to 1821. For him his worry was the link between governments and banks. He expressed this worry when he noted that “Financiers (bankers) are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain."
But perhaps the most hate filled and most memorable quotation in history on banks comes from a two time vice president and one time president of the United States of America, John Adams who expressed his raw and undisguised disgust with banks when he said that “Banks have done more injury to the religion, morality, tranquility, prosperity, and even wealth of the nation than they can have done or ever will do good."
John Adams was the second President of the United States of America serving a single term between 1797 to 1801. Before then, he was the vice president of the United States of America for two terms while his son John Quincy Jones became the sixth President of the United States of America. John Adams is considered one of the founding fathers of America.
His successor, the Third President of the United States of America, Thomas Jefferson had also had great suspicion about banks. “I sincerely believe that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies, and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.” He said.
There are those who have been more cynical in a funny way. Bob an American comedian described a bank as “A place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don't need it.” Robert Frost, an American poet shared a similar view. For him “A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather and ask for it back when it begins to rain”
Bertolt Brecht (1888 to 1956) a German poet, playwright and theatre director felt it was more criminal to build a bank than rob one when he said “For what is the crime of burglarizing a bank, compared with the crime of building one?”
Have you ever wondered what caused bank failures. Dan Quayle, the 44 th Vice President of the United Stated under President Bush the first, has a rather funny notion of why banks fail. For him “Bank failures are caused by depositors who don't deposit enough money to cover losses due to mismanagement”
Earn Warren, who lived between 1891 to 1974 and ended up as the 14th Chief Justice of the United States of America did not hide his disdain for banks. He expressed it in the most vehement way he can “I hate banks. They do nothing positive for anybody except take care of themselves. They're first in with their fees and first out when there's trouble”
Bankers share in the disdain banks are held. J. Edgar Hoover former Head Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 1961 showed little respect for those who choose to work in a bank when he said “Banks are an almost irresistible attraction for that element of our society which seeks unearned money.”
James Buchan a British journalist was more explicit on what he thinks of bankers “Because bankers measure their self-worth in money, and pay themselves a lot of it, they think they're fine fellows and don't need to explain themselves.” He said.
But perhaps bankers should listen to what an American farmer, Edmund Ruffin, who lived between 1794 and 1865 felt about banks. “Banks and riches are chains of gold, but still chains.” Many bankers may agree.
So when you open the morning papers and you see that screaming headlines on how bankers are creaming the Nigerian society remember that “Bank Bashing” has come a long way.

Elvis Presley and His Music From the Heart
When Elvis began putting together his collection of music for his comeback, he was able to reflect on many years of a great range of popular American music, including his own and that of other people.
Elvis was blessed with a natural talent to sing just about anything, but he also needed to feel as comfortable with his selected material, as he was around the guys that worked for him.
Elvis was well aware he had an audience to please, but if he was in the mood and wanted to do something different, he would also please himself, as long as he did it his way.
In his selection of music were the Elvis Golden Oldies, which were always great crowd-pleasing favorites they included??That?s All Right (Mama),? ?Cant Help Falling In Love,? ?Love Me Tender,? ?Heartbreak Hotel,? ?All Shock Up,? ?Hound Dog,? ?Trying to Get to You,? ?Jailhouse Rock??many of these songs are now used in a shortened form and put in suitable medleys.
The new range of material that found its way into his performance says a great deal about his existence and image.
Elvis required a personal ?hold? in everything that he did; which might come from the style of the music, but most of the time it was more likely to come from something in the lyric, which would allow him to express himself.
Elvis knew that the only thing that would help the music stay fresh, alive, and take a hold on the audience was to add his personal touch with a meaningful opening.
Elvis was not one to sing a song unless he felt it; he had to feel it in his heart, for that?s where he sang from and that?s what made him a famous star.
No matter what he sang it had to fit him perfectly, and it is obvious when going through songs he sang over the years, and hearing the personal connections that were evident in his life.
The guys in the group were often on the lookout for new material to try out on the boss, like Simon and Garfunkel?s moving classic, ?Bridge Over Trouble Water,? a song Elvis found instantly challenging and emotionally powerful.
When Elvis performed ?Bridge Over Trouble Water,? his trembling body quivers, his head rolls on his shoulders, while clinching his fists letting the sweat pour down his face, and when he gets to ?I?ve Lost You? he is down on his knees as if death is the only option: as the tears streak the mascara.
Creedence Clearwater Revival?s traditional, ?Proud Mary,? allowed the kind of vocal expression Elvis loved, as did Tony Joe Whites ?Polk Salad Annie? also having the same excited reaction.
Then there were the songs he sang for special reasons.
A Marty Robbinss hit, ?You Gave Me A Mountain? expressed his need to persist, remain strong, continue with strength after his divorce, and the sadness of being without his daughter.
?American Trilogy,? one Elvis put together, as a tribute to the dignity of his country and its tradition. Only Elvis could have pulled it off with such perfection.
In the end Elvis variety of musical material, remained a very profitable mixture of his past and present; his music was the glue that held together all those dissimilar basics in his life.
In private Elvis enjoyed the theatrical numbers with vocal back up, he was attracted to the many voices hitting at one time, from the lowest bass to the highest peak tenors and sopranos reaching the same note. Elvis loved the force behind it.
Mostly, Elvis took pleasure in listening to gospel. Elvis strongly believed, there was nothing as influential or inspirational than the good gospel music, he would carry around a case of a hundred or so albums?most of them were gospel music.
Listening to his chosen gospel music was a means for Elvis to get in touch with his roots; he often used this music for giving praise to the Lord when feeling humble and thankful, which he regularly did. The Bible says to sing praise and lift your voice to Him.
When Elvis sang ?How Great Thou Art? he felt it in his soul, with such feeling and meaning he had the power in him to move mountains. Elvis quite often liked to listen to Mahalia Jackson, who was to Elvis, the Queen of Gospel.
