Dark circles under the eyes are an extremely common and distressing issue. Many people assume they're caused by not getting enough sleep, and they're right. Lack of sleep can make skin look pale, allowing blood vessels to show through and give the appearance of dark circles. Dark circles under the eyes are the most common non-hormonal skin problem. Another cause may be bad blood circulation. Cardio exercise increases blood circulation and may help the dark circles to disappear. The area directly located under the eyes are closely related to kidneys and liver, so the appearance of dark circles may indicate problems or weakness in the kidney or liver activity. Dark eye circles could be a sign of excessive loss of water from the body.

The best way to prevent dark circles under the eyes is to eat, drink and sleep well, reduce stress and combat fatigue. There are some simple remedies that may help to diminish the appearance of dark circles and prevent them from worsening. Make a paste from a teaspoon of tomato juice, 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric powder and a pinch of gram flour. Apply under eyes for 10 minutes. Apply cotton balls soaked in cucumber juice or potato juice around the eyes. Drinking good amount of water also helps in lightening the dark circles under the eyes. Take a teaspoon of tomato juice, a few drops of lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric powder (if you are not allergic to it) and a little flour, enough to make a paste. Apply crushed mint leaves under the eyes for 20 minutes.

Massage with almond oil under and around eyes at bed time daily for 3 weeks. This is effective in reducing dark circles around eyes. Dark circles can be removed by doing pranayam daily for at least five minutes. Grate cucumber / potato and squeeze fresh juice out of gratings. Dip two cotton balls in it and keep these cotton balls on eyes. This relaxes eyes and relieves tiredness of eyes. Eat vegetables and fruits that are rich in vitamin E for healthy eyes. Drinking good amount of water also helps in lightening the dark circles under the eyes. Exposure to sun light increases the level of pigmentation and cause tanning. Drink plenty of water (more than 15 glasses). Dip two cotton balls in rose water and place them on your eyes, covering dark circles. 9. Eat vegetables and fruits that are rich in vitamin E for healthy eyes.

10. Application of cream with vitamin E and C also helps in reducing the dark circles.

Can all DVD Players play dual layer disc?

So right now I am making a video. I was wondering if the dual layer dvd-r will would on most player or not. Note that i am talking mainly about dvd players for TVs and not the dvd drives on computers.

Recent (last 5 years) DVD players will all play dual-layer DVDs. Many movies are distributed on dual-layer discs.

However, there may be problems even with new players playing recordable DVDs of either type (DVD+R, DVD-R), and worse problems with recordable dual-layer discs. This is because the signal strength on recordable discs is much less than on manufactured discs, and depending on the quality of the recorder and the media, some players will have trouble.

Guitar hero wireless guitar wont work?

i've been playing guitar hero for a while, and i lost all my games, i just started building my collection up again, starting with a guitar hero 5 pack, with a new wireless guitar, i just got a 3 game pack with GH 1 2 and 80s encore. but every time try to play GH 2 the wireless guitar won't come on! can anyone tell me why? do i need to get another guitar?

Well what system are you using? If you're using a ps3, then no, the ps2 GH games won't work because you need ps2 GH controllers to play them with. You'd have to purchase a ps2-ps3 adaptor.

Keeping Time With Your iPod

Your new iPod not only offers you the ultimate in music downloads and portability, but it is also very versatile. Did you know that your iPod has a time feature that you can use to help wake you up in the morning? Talk about a great feature.

Now you can set your iPod to wake you to music you have specially chosen and that you love. No more waking up to boring morning radio chatter or songs that you hate. Simply use the iPod Clock feature to switch off your iPod automatically after you fall asleep. You can even set the iPods alarm to wake you up in the morning. This is very handy in the event you have a power shortage and your alarm does not go off.

You will be your boss favorite when you never show up late for that 7:30 meeting. It is also a perfect feature for traveling. No more worries about missed wake up calls.

When you choose to use the time feature on your iPod, you can use the alarm function and set the clock to tell the time. If you want to see what time it is, go to the main menu and choose :Extras: and then :Clock:.

Changing the time on your iPod is simple, too. If you need to change the time zone on your iPod, you will need to go to the main menu and choose :Settings: and then ate & Time:. Now choose :Set Time Zone: and choose your time zone from the list.

You will need to set the Sleep Timer each time you wish to use it.

Alarm Clock

You can use iPod as an alarm clock to wake you up in the morning or to set reminder alerts.

To set an alarm: From the Main Menu click to select Extras - Clock - Alarm Clock. Now select Alarm and to set it to On. Scroll to (and click to select) Time. Scroll through the time (hours, minutes, AM/PM) and click to select the desired time. Scroll to Sound. Scroll among the sounds and click to select the one you want.

Note that if you select Beep, the alarm will be audible through the internal speaker. If you select a playlist, you will need to connect speakers or headphones to your iPod to hear the alarm

Keeping time with your iPod is relatively easy, once you get the hang of it. Along with all of its other features, you will not want to be without it for long! The iPod offers the ultimate in versatility.
