Can someone answer a Missouri question for me?

I know nothing about Missouri as I have never ever been there. We are planning to go to Branson at Thanksgiving time. If we book a room in the Ozark Mountains, is that near or in Branson or how far away or what? Thanks

I live in Missouri and there are really no "mountains", just hills. The Ozark Mountain region refers to the southern part of Missouri as well as the northern part of Arkansas. So, if you are intending on staying in Branson to go shopping or other activities, you could be several miles away. You'd better check what town your hotel is in.

If you want to stay in Branson for several days, and are traveling with kids, I would recommend the presidential suite at the Savannah House hotel. The presidential suite has a living room, full kitchen, master bedroom w/whirlpool tub, second bedroom w/bathroom, washer & dryer, complimentary breakfast and evening coffee/cookies. The only drawback is that the pool is outside and closed in winter. The last time we stayed in that suite, it was $150.00 per night. It's really clean and fairly pretty nice. The hotel is located off 76 and is easily accessible.

Beware of some of the hotels, they post photos of the front entrance of the hotel which looks really nice and modern and the rest of it hasn't really been updated. Branson is a huge tourist area and the rooms gets lots and lots of use and some of the hotels replace/update the furnishings when needed, but a lot do not. Most are not chain hotels and are not as friendly when it comes to offering a refund because you are dissatisfied with your room.

If you are just wanting to get away and spend some quality time with family or the kids, there are alot of cabins located in and around Eureka Springs, Arkansas and would only be a short drive to Branson for shopping. Eureka Springs has a lot of antique shops/craft shops. Mainly for adults.

I need a comic strip idea for a pig and a farmer?

For art I need to draw a comic strip with my characters, which are a farmer and a pig that don't get along. I can have 4 parts to it. I need a humorous idea to draw. any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!

The pig can talk. They don't get along because the pig keeps making the animals do things that cost the farmer money. The farmer's wife can't understand why the farmer doesn't slaughter the pig -- it's big enough now and all -- and the farmer can't tell her that the pig talks, or the pig would become famous. Besides, the farmer is locked into a promise he made to his father: keep that pig happy until it LIKES you, boy. So his quest is to tolerate the pig and to keep him happy. I dunno. That's what I've got.
