How to join Xbox live and set up connection?

I have tried to join xbox live a while back, but honestly I have no idea how. My friends tell me I need wifi and a wifi router or an ethernet cable. I have a wifi router downstairs from the xbox 360, so can I set up a connection without buying anything else? Also do I make a gamertag using the internet or the xbox itself? Thanks for your help!

If you want to use your wireless signal and you have the older 360 that isn't the new slim 360, you need to buy the wireless adapter. Otherwise, you can run an Ethernet cable to your modem or router. After you have one of those options, sign into your offline profile on your 360 and then choose the 'connect to Xbox Live' option from your dashboard which is the home screen that comes up when you turn your 360 on. It will take you through a very simple step by step on how to turn the offline profile into a gamertag. Once that's all done, you'll probably be prompted to download an update and then you'll be connected to Live.

Help classifying "A Noiseless Patient Spider" (Walt Whitman)?

Can anyone help me classify this poem? Also I need to know what the structure of the poem is (rhyme scheme, meter, stanza pattern, etc.)

I am really bad at identifying poems!

POEM:

"A NOISELESS, patient spider,
I mark’d, where, on a little promontory, it stood, isolated;
Mark’d how, to explore the vacant, vast surrounding,
It launch’d forth filament, filament, filament, out of itself;
Ever unreeling them—ever tirelessly speeding them.

And you, O my Soul, where you stand,
Surrounded, surrounded, in measureless oceans of space,
Ceaselessly musing, venturing, throwing,—seeking the spheres, to connect them;
Till the bridge you will need, be form’d—till the ductile anchor hold;
Till the gossamer thread you fling, catch somewhere, O my Soul."

It doesn't have a rhyme scheme... that's all I know.

What do you consider to be the most 'Progressive' Jazz albums released in the 1950's and 1960's?

I like Bebop, Hard Bop, Modal Jazz, Free Jazz, and Jazz Fusion especially. But I am grateful for any recommendations.

It depends on the definition of 'progressive'.

I think Bill Evans' output during this period was the most influential. He change not so much what was played, but how it is played. In the early 1960’s Evans and his trio released several albums that would change the inner workings of the piano trio along with modern pianists’ idea of harmony and melody. There was group dynamics before Bill Evans, and after Bill Evans. It is kind of like guitar, before and after Charlie Christian. The Complete Village Vanguard Recordings illustrate of an example of this new trio idea of 'democracy' within the group.

Insofar as turning the Jazz scene on its head.
