The information i have is the volume collected, time of collection, the nominal bore of the tube.

Lets put in some numbers so this makes sense

volume: 2 liters = 2000 cm^3

Time: 90 seconds

Bore diameter : 5 cm

Volume Flow Rate = volume / time = 2 L / 90 s = 0.022 L/s = 22.22 cm^3/s

Volume = velocity * area

Area = Pi * d = Pi * 5 cm = 15.71 cm^2

A = Pi * r^2 = Pi * 2.5^2 = 19.63 cm^2

22.22 cm^3 / s = 19.63 cm^2 * v

v = 1.13 cm/s

What do you think is the best Janet Jackson album, song, and music video? Why?

My personal favorite album is "The Velvet Rope", which unfortunately had only one #1 Billboard Single - "Together Again". I like the beats, tones, and feels of the album. It's Janet's most personal album. "Rhythm Nation 1814" is her second-best album.

My favorite songs by Janet are:
1. "The Pleasure Principle" - from "Control"
2. "Love Will Never Do (Without You)" - from "Rhythm Nation 1814"
3. "If" - from "janet."
4. "Velvet Rope" - from "The Velvet Rope"
and
5. "Escapade" - "from Rhythm Nation 1814"

My favorite music video by Janet is..."Got 'Til It's Gone" (feat. Q-Tip and Joni Mitchell) - from "The Velvet Rope" album, and the music video won a grammy.

OMG, I adore Janet Jackson. I have loved her since her Control album.

It's hard to pick one favorite album because I liked the all but the one that I play alot is Design of a Decade.

My favorite songs are the same as my favorite videos:

"If"- when I saw that video I was speechless

"I Get So Lonely"- I loved that whole red hair thing, she is gorgeous

"Again"- this is my favorite song and the video was so beautiful and it had the gorgeous Gary Dourden.

"You Want This"- I liked the dance moves.

"Pleasure Principle"- this is the best video

"Escapade"- I love the set; it was so colorful.

"Alright"- good video. I liked how it went back in time.

"Deep"- I don't know why but I liked this video.

"Love Will Never Do"- that's when Janet started to show off her femininity. She hasn't looked back since.

I can go all day with these songs and videos, Janet Jackson is very talented and never disappoints me. She rocks.

Why are the voices and music at different volume levels?

If I watch a movie on my tv, we always end up turning the volume up all the way because we can't hear the people talking. Even when it's on full blast, the voices are even soft. So if they whisper, you can't hear ANYTHING. But then the music comes in, and blows you away it's so loud. Why are they not at the same volume level? I watch movies on my computer and the problem does not exist. It's only on the TV. Someone told me it had something to do with 'audio compression.' How do I fix this?

It sounds like your system is trying to send audio to a center channel that doesn't exist, or is unplugged in your system. If you have a 5.1 surround system (center, 2 fronts, 2 rears, sub-woofer) then you should check the settings on your receiver to make sure that it is outputting sound to the center, or that the center channel is connected correctly. In a 5.1 system, at least 60% of your voice comes out of the center channel.

If you don't have a 5.1 system, then double check the settng on your receiver if you have it, or the DVD player and have them output a stereo sound as opposed to surround sound.
