What are the names of all the My Morning Jacket songs that were on the lastest American Dad episode?

I know one of them was Wordless Chorus but let me know the others. Also for any people that gets defensive with their music I've heard of the band a couple of years before the episode I just don't know their songs that well.

The song most prominently featured is 'Wordless Chorus' from My Morning Jacket's album, Z. The episode also uses the songs 'I'm Amazed', 'Remnants', 'Touch Me I'm Going To Scream (Part 2), & 'Highly Suspicious' from Evil Urges, & 'Phone Went West' from At Dawn. The songs I Will Sing You Songs and Mahgeetah from the album It Still Moves are referenced in dialogue.

Action Figure Toy Collecting Alert - My Chemical Romance Action Figures are Worth Their Weight in Gold!

My Chemical Romance action figures are red hot! Since their release by SEG Toys in late 2005, the collectible prices of My Chemical Romance action figures have been rising faster than the band’s 2004 ascent to teen punk stardom. The action figures are no longer available through most traditional retail chains and where ever they do show up, they are being quickly snatched up by My Chemical Romance fans, collectors, and investor’s alike. According to one teen on a My Chemical Romance band chat site, “Just forget about it! It’s impossible to get these figures unless your parents have a truck full of money.” Well, she’s right! It is not unheard of for the entire band five figure set of My Chemical Romance action figures to sell for about $500.

Just as he does in the band, My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way is leading the band’s action figure popularity contest. According to the music action figure price guide at Rock-n-Roll-Action-Figures.com, the average selling price of the Gerard Way action figure is somewhere around $180.00. Wow! Coming in at a not too shabby second place are the Mikey Way action figures currently selling for around $120.00 each. The other members of My Chemical Romance have no reason to be disappointed. The Bob Bryar, Ray Toro, and Frank Iero My Chemical Romance figures are valued somewhere in the $55.00 range. Not a bad return for some figures that originally retailed for $14.99! For a lucky number of collectors, it get’s even better. One out of every 100 My Chemical Romance action figures released by SEG Toys were packaged variant figures. These stylized variant figures featured the band members as zombies. These zombie figures are typically selling for about twice the price of the originally released My Chemical Romance action figures. That puts the collectible value of a complete set of zombie variant figures of the band near an ice cold $1000!

The My Chemical Romance figures were originally released in 2005 at Hot Topic and Spencer Gift stores. The Hot Topic figures came complete with a “prayer card” designed by band front man Gerard Way. The Spencer Gifts figures included limited-edition Jim Dunlop guitar picks as an accessory for each figure.

Each My Chemical Romance action figure from SEG Toys stands about 4.75” tall and features 16 points of articulation. Accessories include a red handgun and a coffin for each figure…weird!

Ten Years Of Sweet Country Music From Rascal Flatts

The year 2010 marks the 10th anniversary of one of this generation’s most successful country music acts, Rascal Flatts. Celebrating a decade of good country songs, a string of hit songs, sold out tours and endless awards, the country superband-consisting of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney-is kicking off the year on a high note, sending the country music blog scene into overdrive.

From the 2000 release of their self-titled debut album and its first single, “Prayin’ For Daylight,” they have regularly dished out superb country songs, earning both critical and public acclaim for their subsequent releases. Now, Rascal Flatts has had 11 #1 singles and six studio albums Billboard’s Top 100 Country Albums of the Decade list—more than any of their contemporaries in this genre. Aside from dominating the charts for a decade, the band has also sold over 20 million albums and played over 700 dates, including sold out concerts at the Madison Square Garden and at Wrigley Field. As reported in various country music blogs, Rascal Flatts has enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame from its humble beginnings.

In an interview, Rooney shared how the band first came together, "We started at the Fiddle & Steel Guitar Bar in Printer's Alley in Nashville, and some other clubs on Broadway, back in January 1999, that's where I met Jay. Currently, Rascal Flatts holds the sole distinction of being the most-awarded country group of the new millennium. The group has taken home almost 40 awards from prestigious award-giving bodies such as the American Music Awards, the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, and the People’s Choice Awards, among others. Although it lost to fellow country group Lady Antebellum in this year’s Grammy awards, they would not let this loss stop them from creating better music in the future.

So what is in store for their fans this year? To this Rooney says, "If we want to dig in deeper and work harder, I think we can do some even bigger things. It's all up to us, and it always has been-it's just taken us until now to realize that, I think. We have goals set for ourselves. We want to win a Grammy, we want to sell out football stadiums. There are plenty of big things to shoot for. The ultimate goal is to be in the Country Music Hall of Fame and maybe be members of the Grand Ole Opry someday. That would be our long-term goals, for sure."

Better Photo Tips - Lines in Your Photos

Place a pencil tip to the paper and lift it up. What do you have? You have a dot, a circle, or a starting point. Now place that pencil down and move an inch in any direction. What have you created? You have created a line. You have moved beyond the starting point, and created the basic building block of everything visual in the world. Think about it; squares, triangles, stars, rectangles all start by creating a line.

A photo tip worth remembering is: lines can be positive or negative. If you have a photo that shows a road diagonally going from the lower left corner to the upper right corner, and there it blends into a beautiful sunset . . . that’s a positive line. On the other hand, if you shoot the same sunset and the road runs horizontally from left to right; that would be a negative line. Why? Because it is going side to side and NOT interacting with the main subject, therefore it distracts. It may only be briefly, but most viewers will jump back and forth between the sunset and the road, and wonder where the road is going.

Many young couples like to hold hands while taking their picture. That’s fine, but if they hold hands and their hands are down at their side, it literately points away from the couple and makes people stare at their feet. On the other hand; if you have them holding hands and they bend at the elbow so their hands are closer to their face . . . that visual line actually points back to the couple. The second photo tip is: lines can reinforce your subject or distract.

One of the reasons most portrait photographers avoid hands, is because it is so easy to accidentally shoot them uncomplimentary. Imagine a young couple where the man in a friendly loving manner puts his arm around the young ladies’ waist. If the fingers show up in the shot what does that do? They usually end up pointing either to the waist or the stomach. Most women really don’t want you looking at their stomach or waist. It’s not the viewers fault, but if you have five little lines pointing back to the belly it’s very hard NOT to look in that direction.

As we have demonstrated when two lines meet they form a point. When two lines actually cross it does something different that is also hard to control. Have you ever heard the phrase X marks the spot?? If a tree branch crosses a fence or a fence crosses a road, its’ almost like posting a sigh that says, “Look HERE!” If your subject is in the upper right corner and you have a visual X in the lower left corner, your mind will go back and forth. It will be extremely difficult to just concentrate on the subject. Photo tip number three: avoid the visual X at all cost, unless your subject is directly in the middle of that X.

Photo tip number four: lines convey thoughts and feelings. Horizontal lines represent rest or relaxation. Vertical lines often give a mental image of strength. Diagonal lines tend to give a feeling of movement. Curved lines are loose and flexible (usually considered sexier.) Jagged lines suggest energy or conflict. If you are trying to create a calm, peaceful scenic photograph and you have several sharp jagged lines in the image, your photo is already in conflict with itself.

To summarize these are important photo tips to remember about lines:

A) Lines can be positive or negative.

B) Lines can reinforce your subject or distract.

C) Avoid the Visual X.

D) Lines convey thoughts and feelings.

Since all shapes are formed with lines, it stands to reason that all subjects are affected by lines. It does not matter if you are taking pictures of people, trees, or cars all subjects have their own natural lines. Be aware of the lines of your subject, around your subject, and those caused by your subject. Lines can be your best friend, or your worst nightmare. Use these photo tips to your advantage and take your photographs to the next level.
