Liberate Da Isles Mon! Trolls Take Back the Echo Isles

There's no stopping the war drums in World of Warcraft as the Darkspear trolls prepare to reclaim their long lost homeland from the clutches of an evil necromancer. In the upcoming Patch 3.9.0, one of the last updates before the Cataclysm expansion, the Darkspears will seek the help of their Horde allies and a powerful loa god to retake the Echo Isles once and for all.

 

But the sorcerer Zalazane won't give up his hold on the Echo Isles easily. Commanding an army of Darkspear trolls he has enslaved using voodoo magic, Zalazane hopes to pit the tribe against one another and keep the advancing Darkspears at bay.

 

Zalazane had once been loyal to the Darkspear tribe but his research on dark magic gave him illusions of grandeur that he had the right to subdue his own people for personal gain. What Zalazane hasn't counted on though is the tenacity of Vol'jin, the current leader of the exiled Darkspear trolls.

 

Vol'jin has begun a massive recruitment campaign across the Horde faction and has turned the quiet Sen'jin Village into a bustling base of operations.

 

Spy Frogs, Troll Druids and a Loa Spirit

According to initial testing of Patch 3.3.5 at the public test realms, the Echo Isles quest line begins in Sen'jin Village where Horde players will be asked to capture frogs for the troll lieutenant Vanira. These frogs will serve as spies for the Darkspears since Vanira can attune her eyesight to the frogs', enabling her to see the goings-on in the Echo Isles and plan the best time for attack.

 

You also get to meet a strange tiger, which turns out to be the druid troll Zen'tabra. The inclusion of troll druids into the Echo Isles campaign is a smart move for Blizzard since it will give a great back story for this newest race-class option.

 

Zen'tabra joins the cause and enlists her troll druid friends, further bolstering the forces at Sen'jin Village. But the most powerful ally to join the Darkspears will be the loa spirit Bwonsamdi who watches over the tribe, both living and dead. Bwonsamdi is first unsure whether you will be able to defeat Zalazane but after proving your mettle in combat, the loa spirit finally relents and lends his strength for the last push deep into the Echo Isles.

 

The Storming of Echo Isles

Having gathered enough troll warriors and allies to match Zalazane's forces, Vol'jin invades the Echo Isles for the final confrontation. Vanira, Zen'tabra and Bwonsamdi all provide back-up in what has been described as the troll version of the Battle for the Undercity.

 

The storming of Echo Isles will be a phased encounter and will feature opponents ranging from packs of hexed trolls to the mini-boss Jun'do the Traitor. Zalazane will also attempt to conjure an impenetrable force field that will protect him from harm, but let's just say it won't do him any good and he will at last get a taste of his own bad mojo.

 

It remains to be seen whether the hexed trolls can be brought back from their trance, but it is suspected that killing Zalazane—plus the help of the Darkspear witch doctors—could be enough to free the enslaved trolls.

 

The Echo Isles campaign has been a long time coming and trolls around Azeroth are thrilled to no end. No more squatting in Orgrimmar or being the only Horde race without a city to call their own. Now, Vol'jin and his Darkspear trolls will taste liberation—and get a breezy, tropical town to call home in Cataclysm.

Panna National Park

Panna Reserve spreads over Panna and Chhatarpur districts in Madhya Pradesh. Created in 1981, it was the 22nd National Park in the state and 5th in the state. This reserve has bits of Gangau Wildlife Sanctuary created in 1975. Dry and short grass terrains support Blue Bull and Chinkara wildlife. Porcupine, Hare, Rusty Spotted Cat, Hyena, Wolf, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Sambhar, Jungle Cat, Chital, Chausinga, Nilgai, Wild Dog, Chinkara, Jungle Cat and Tiger are some of the wildlife you may encounter in the park. Best time to visit this park will be between the months of mid-May.

Kanha National Park

Kanha National Park is situated in Mandla/Balaghat districts Madhya Pradesh. A horse shoe shaped valley with Mekal ranges is spread across 940 sq km. Kanha boasts of one of the largest populations of tigers. Other rare species spotted here are sloth bear, leopard and striped hyena, spotted dear, wild boar, jungle cat, jackal and a variety of monkeys. 200 species of birds are also found here. From 16th October, 2009 Madhya Pradesh national Parks will re-open as per schedule.

Bandipur National Park

Bandipur National Park is located in Chamarajanagar district in Karnataka. This park is bestowed with a moderate climate and varied geographical features. Due to great weather an amazingly wide variety of flora and fauna thrives in this park. Bandipur was one of the first Tiger Reserves of India. Formed in 1973 under Project Tiger, the ideal time to visit the park is in the months of April and October. Besides tiger, gaur (a type of bull), sambar, chital, mouse deer, four-horned antelope, wild boar, jackal, sloth bear, panther, Malabar squirrel, porcupines and the black-knapped hare and birds like jungle fowl and green pigeon are also found here.

Manas National Park

Situated in the foothills of the Himalayas and a part extended in Bhutan, Manas National Park has been declared as a World Heritage site in 1985. Manas, one of the two Tiger Reserves of Assam is also famous for its Elephants and Rhinos. The picturesque splendor and exceptional riches of wild life merge with this distinctive world heritage site to tender one of the most absorbing experiences. Indian one-horned Rhinoceros, Golden Langur, Capped Langur, Elephant, Wild Buffalo, Gaur, etc. is some species of wildlife found here. The best time to visit the park is in between November and April.

Sunderbans

Affirmed in 1973 as a tiger reserve, Sunderbans are in West Bengal. It became a National Park in 1984. The park is named after the large mangrove trees which are available in plenty. The key attraction of this park is the Royal Bengal Tiger. Other species of mammals found here are fishing cat, chital, wild boar, water monitor and crocodile. The best time to visit this place is between December and February.

At that time Ken was inspired by The Beatles, Yes, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, and Todd Rundgren. At the age of seven Ken became more serious about music and was inspired by Chick Corea. Gino Vanelli and George Duke. Ken's first gig came at the age of eighteen at the Montauk Yacht Club. He then attended Ithaca College where he studied music and broadcasting. By this time Steely Dan became a big influence and he became more of a writer and singer. Ken played in numerous bands and ended up in Montreal where he recorded many albums including his critically-acclaimed CD As We Walk. I love to listen to this album while I'm driving. Recently, I noticed myself humming and singing the soothing melodies and catchy lyrics while sitting at my desk at work. This CD was a natural for me and makes me feel great. Thanks Ken!

I love this album. Not simply because I know the artist but because it speaks in lyrical truths about the human spirit. The album begins with a rocking, jazz influenced greeting "Welcome" setting the tone for a novella of moving songs that follow. One of my favorites is "Didn't We" which takes us on a journey into our past and the memorable good things we acomplished there. Listening to this song made me happy to be a part of the human race and set a path to the future where we can do good things over and over again. Treat yourself to a remarkable experience in the human condition; hope, sanity and a way to go forward in truth. Listen to this album.

I thought this CD was truly exceptional, in fact the song As we Walk -brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it for it's melodic and deep feeling. It delivers a message that's important. I highly recomend this Cd to be listened to. The band is great and I especially enjoyed the female back up voices that are on the last few songs.This artist deserves to go somewhere!
