sonata arctica lyrics?
I heard about a song about some boys campin' and a murderer who killed'em... its supposed to be a real life story, and played by Sonata arctica.... does anybody knows something about? Thank you!!!!
are you sure it's from Sonata? Cause that sounds a lot like the Lake Bodom incident in Finland. The band Children of Bodom made a few songs about that tragedy. So try searching for lyrics from Children of Bodom, I listen to Sonata a bit, and so far I don't think they made a song about that...

Four Steps to Choosing Your First Musical Instrument
You are looking to find an instrument for yourself, or perhaps your child. You want to pick the right one, but it is so overwhelming! Woodwinds, piano, brass, strings, and percussion, and that is just the groupings. How can you decide which instrument is right for you?
Do some Research
Here are few suggestions that will help you to narrowdown the search. First, do some research into what the different instruments sound like. You do not want to bestuck playing, or listing to someone play, aninstrument you cannot stand the sound of. Check out some orchestra CDs from your local library, or go online to find sound clips of different instruments. A
music teacher may be able to demonstrate the sound of some instruments for you. Sergei Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf is a great piece that showcases several instrumental solos.
Try Some Out
Once you have found a few sounds that please you, see if you can try some out. If you know someone who plays an instrument, ask them if you can try it. They may not want to let you put your mouth on their mouthpiece, but you can at least hold the instrument and feel how it feels in your hand. Also, if you are looking for an instrument for your child, their school orchestra teacher will most likely have some student models they can try. Some music stores may be willing to let you try an instrument. Keep in mind that you will not play a symphony on the first try, but you do want to have an instrument that feels somewhat comfortable in your hands.
When looking at an instrument, there are some physical capabilities you need to consider. For example, if you have tiny hands, you may have trouble reaching some chords necessary to play the piano. The trombone requires relatively long arms, and a child that is younger than fifth grade is probably too small for it. Kids with braces will have a difficult time beginning
a brass instrument, as the pressure on their teeth will be painful. Think about the size of the arms, hand, and mouth of the person you are choosing and instrument for, and try not to force them into something that is too big or small for their build.
Match with personality
Next, think about the new musicians personality. A quiet, shy young person is most likely not going to be comfortable with a loud brass instrument. Likewise, the tough football player would be mortified playing the flute. Piano students need to be capable of working on their own, while band students need to enjoy working in groups. Think about your home environment too.
Is there a place where the student can practice? If space is at a premium, choose a smaller instrument. If there are close neighbors, think of quieter instruments.
Think about your budget.
The fact is, some instruments take more financial dedication than others. For instance, strings have to be upgraded as the student grows, whereas a brass instrument usually comes in one size. Also, keep in mind the repairs the instrument will need, whether it be tunings for a piano, strings for a violin, or reeds for a clarinet. These considerations may help you decide between one or two once you have narrowed it down.
The bottom line is, choose an instrument you can see yourself or your child enjoying. Practicing an instrument is hard work, and in order for it to pay off, you need to enjoy it. By taking time to choose your first musical instrument, you will ensure
that you have made a choice you can stick with until the final curtain call.

I'm looking for some good classical music suggestions?
I'm looking for some fast, complex classical pieces to listen to. Anything where the performer is basically "shredding" his or her instrument. I usually prefer pieces that involve a small number of instruments, like string quartets or solo works (although I like Beethoven's 5th and 9th a lot). To give you an idea of what I generally like, two of my favorite works are Bach's suites for solo cello and his sonatas and partitas for solo violin. I also like a lot of Beethoven's and Schubert's string quartets, and the four seasons by Vivaldi. I'm not quite sure how to put this in music terms, but I'm looking for pieces that are complex, technically involved and sort of darker (just not totally happy/whimsical-sounding).
I'm not that deep into the classical genre, and I'm assuming there is more fast, complex classical music out there, so I was hoping some enthusiasts out there might see this and give me some good recommendations.
Shredding eh?

Thorough Understanding The Piano Music
It just happens that you have found a new piece of piano music and you're so eager to learn it. So what are you going to do just to stare on those black dots and lines of white sheet of paper or to learn this steps in order for you to have the satisfaction of playing it by your own and to transcend those black dots and lines into a beautiful piece of master piece which you can play with.
Before you can play the piano, you must first analyze the music you want to play, always start at the top of the music page. Look for the very first word in the lines on the top of the page and try to answer these following questions.
1. What is the title of the piece?
2. Who composed the piece?
3. When was the piece composed?
Usually the title of the piece indicates the kind of music you are referring with, it may designate a form such as fugue, canon, dance, or sonata. It may also give you a hint on what kind or style of genre it is whether it is baroque, classical, romantic or contemporary. The title might also reveal if it is an original composition or just a transcription for piano or a piece designed for orchestral piece. This details will give you the overall perception on what king of piece you are about to uncover.
One of the most important thing on how to approach a new piece of music is by analyzing this detail you may know if you have already played or encountered a piece made by this composer and will be able to note its similarities and difference. Because every composer carries with their own styles and it is the soul of their masterpiece.
The third and final detail that you must decipher is the time when the said piece was composed in order for you to know the era on when the piece was composed, for the era itself dictates the styles of the music in every period.
The date of composition gives a point of view, its composer and the title of this new piece gives you a glimpse on what kind of music you are about to unveil. You can also browse in the internet and search for the genre. The composer and the time period will broaden your perspective on what kind of music you would like to learn and if it soothes your personality or your mood.
Mostly, all people wanted to learn piano as fast as possible and still preoccupied with other things in life. You should always keep in mind, there's nothing that can be made perfect at one glance. Learning how to play takes time. One important thing is, you should learn only things what you can retained. Do not over exert. The most common error is, others are trying to learn all the essentials in an instance. But the bottom point is the capability of the mind to absorb it all. Time and practice make it perfect, patience is also a must.
